The incisions are then sutured to give a flatter, firmer and better-contoured chest. Any stitches will be of the dissolving type and so do not need to be removed.
How long does the surgery take?
The surgery will take up to 1-3 hours depending on the individual patient. Most patients can go home on the day of the surgery, however some will stay in the hospital for a couple of days.
